Our service:

We offer a contact and pair off service between a tutor, nanny/babysitter or mother's helper and parents who require a sitter at home. We meet personally with all sitters who are only selected after an evaluation of their resume, references and their qualities in care giving.

The agency exclusively offers parents a personalized service for fulltime home sitter needed between 4 or 5 days a week ( a different price is offered to the parents who reside outside of the Montreal region.)

Your needs:

We meet with you, the parents, at your home and during this meeting we fill in a registration form and a service agreement. There is an 150$, plus tax, lifetime membership fee applicable.

This meeting mostly allows us to better define your needs.

Pair Off:

When the agency finds the best qualified sitter as per your requirements, it will give you her details to enable you to contact this person. Regarding the salary, as we are only a contact and pair off service agency, this will be discussed and agreed upon between the employer and the employee.

Tasks and wages:

Daily suggested tasks for a tutor or babysitter:

• To watch children and provide safety, emotional and physical needs (bath, diaper change, bottle feed etc).
• To organize indoor and outdoor activities to amuse as well as to provide physical exercises.
• To ensure the house's tidiness and cleanliness.
• To respect parent's instructions.
• To keep track of the children's activities and welfare.

Specific tasks suggested for a tutor:

• To organize various activities such as drawings, stories, visit, etc, in respect to the children's needs and interests and their general development.
• Discuss progress or problems with parents.

Specific tasks suggested for a mother's helper:

• Assist with, or may be responsible for, meal preparation, laundry, washing dishes, running errands and other routine housekeeping duties.
• Assist parent in child supervision and household management.
• Bathe, dress and feed infants and children under direction of parent.

Suggested wages :

• About 10$ per hour and more depending on working hours, number of children and tasks to be done.

Daily wages:

Once you decide to hire a referred sitter, an amount of 275$, plus tax, will be required to reserve her services. A further amount of 275$ plus tax will apply at the date of employment to conclude the transaction.

N.B. So as to cover the agency's expenses, a 150$ fee, plus tax, will be charged to the parent who withdraws, for any reasons whatsoever, once the procedures have started. If, in addition, the parent warns us to reactivate research, this amount will be deduced on future fees.

The agency will refer 2 qualified persons to the parent. An extra 50$ plus tax per additional referred person will apply.

Our fees are non-refundable.

Income Tax Deduction:

With our agency, the administrative fees as well as the sitter's salary are Income Tax deductible.

Warranty:

The agency grants you a warranty on its services for a period of three months from the time of the sitter's hiring. In the event, for a valid reason, you or the sitter terminates employment during the warranty period, the agency will refer to you another sitter at no extra cost.

Responsibility:

The agency's services are solely to refer to you qualified personnel as tutor, babysitter or mother's helper.
